Congratulations and huge thanks to 3 runners who recently completed in very different events on behalf of Free Kicks.
Elliot Chapman ran the Junior Great North Run back in September and raised £157.
Last weekend Posh fan Ralph White from Werrington ran his first half marathon, when competing in the Great Eastern Run around the streets of Peterborough. Ralph completed the run in 2 hours 6 minutes and 57 seconds and raised over £350, which his employers Hanson are going to match.
And finally Peter Burrow the Posh mascot competed in the Mascot Grand National at Huntingdon Racecourse. After a good start Peter faded badly and finished halfway down the field. I am sure despite the rain it was pretty hot in that suit!!
Peter raised £175 for Free Kicks, as well as £25 for the events official charity The Special Olympics.
