Our second Kick of the Easter weekend took place at Stamford Bridge, on Saturday. Christian from Bedford, was nominated by the Addenbrookes hospital for a day out, and we were delighted to help out!
Christian had been to Wembley the week before to see his Dad’s favourite team Luton Town win The Johnstone Paint Trophy. This game proved to be even more exciting, with Bolton giving Chelsea a scare by pulling 3 goals back after the home team had stormed into a 4-0 lead, with 2 of the goals scored by Christian’s favourite player Didier Drogba.
Christian and his Dad Chris, had a meal in the Tambling Suite before the game, and a Q & A session with an ex Chelsea player, before taking their executive seats in the West Stand. Coming a year after his treatment finished, this was a well deserved treat!
