We were back at London Road for the visit of playoff-chasing Blackpool last weekend and Dylan was our Posh mascot for the day. Dylan was nominated by his mum Laura after she visited our stand at a Children’s Fun Day in Central Park last summer.
Dylan came along with his nan and grandad for the match and we met him in the David Seaman Suite where he had already been given his new kit and was very excited about the day ahead!
We joined Dylan on his tour of the stadium where, as always, first stop was the home dressing room which gave him time to have pictures with the players and get his programme and shirt signed. As we continued the tour legendary ex-Posh player Tommy Robson told us some stories about ‘the olden days’ and gave his memories of other ex-players who have their pictures on the wall in the family stand. Dylan then joined the other mascots for a training session on the pitch before going back down the tunnel ready to come on the pitch with his favourite player, Lee Tomlin, and taking his seat in the main stand to watch as Posh beat Blackpool 3-1.
As always we would like to thank all at Peterborough United for their help and hospitality on the day.
