Sisters, Freya and Alex, were mascots at Nottingham Forest at two separate games during this past season; they went along with mum, Julie, to the matches with Yeovil and Brighton. The girls were nominated by our friends at Sue Ryder in Peterborough, in memory of their dad, Andrew, who was a massive Forest fan.
Julie told us all about the days:
We had a fabulous day, we really did. It was on Sky Sports, I found out on the morning of the match so I will record it onto DVD for your website, hopefully you will be able to access it this way. Freya loved her kit and again we were looked after so well. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Winston and the lady on the door who were really lovely to us all and of course John who made sure we were all supposed to be where we should be. Alex got to meet her idol Radoslaw this time so she was made up and when she met the players she got Freya’s new Forest shirt signed for her.
Alex was so so excited about getting home to watch herself on tv!! Sky showed them in the tunnel and running onto the pitch and shaking the players hands. A fantastic momentum of her day.
Thank you to all at The City Ground for their help organising the Kicks and Sue Ryder for nominating the girls.
