Harry’s Kick – Portsmouth v Peterborough United

Our second Kick in four days took us to the south coast and Fratton Park for the Championship game between Portsmouth and Peterborough United. Harry  from Waterlooville was nominated by Naomi House Hospice in Winchester.
Harry was our VIP mascot for the night and he came along with mum Helen, dad Daryl and his best friend Will. We met Harry outside the VIP entrance to the ground before we heading off to the club shop to pick up his new Pompey kit. We were all then taken on a quick tour of the ground and into the dressing room where he had his picture taken with Benjani’s shirt. Harry also got to sit in manager Steve Cotterill’s seat in the dugout, before heading back into the dressing room to meet the players for pictures and autographs.

After that Harry got changed into his kit and had a kickabout on the pitch with the other mascots before heading to his seat to watch a thrilling match which Peterborough won 3-2 with the last kick of the match.

We would like to thank everybody at Portsmouth FC for their kindness and hospitality, we were really looked after brilliantly.
