Jacob’s Kick – Stoke City v Leicester City

We always love the opportunity to arrange Kicks at a club for the first time and, earlier this season, we were able to do just that at Stoke City.

6 year old Jacob was nominated by his mum, Sam, as a treat after two years of enduring difficult health problems and gruelling treatments. He has a passion for football, and for his team, Stoke City, and his dream was to be able to run onto the pitch alongside some of his idols. After reading Sam’s initial email request, we were more than happy to try and fulfil his wish and so arranged for him to be a team mascot at the game against Leicester City.
As well as leading the team out onto the pitch with Glen Johnson, Jacob received a Stoke kit and had the opportunity to meet all the team for photos and autographs in the dressing room.

After the game, Sam messaged us and said ‘We just wanted to say a big heartfelt thank you from both me and Jacob. He had a wonderful time yesterday from start to finish. It was very emotional watching him mix and laugh and smile with people he didn’t know as it’s something he rarely does. He was absolutely shattered after the match’.

Many thanks to Tracy Burrows at Stoke City for helping arrange the day.
