FC Free Kicks v PUSFC

Match report from Graeme ‘ Smudge’ Smith, Manager

14 July saw FC free kicks take on PUSFC at Netherton 4G pitch.

A much changed side since the 14-1 reverse in our last game against the Posh supporters but also saw the returns of now regular players Lofty, Ronnie Fortune, Wapps, Ports.

Very competitive game that both sides started well, few chances fell early doors to both sides with neither able to take.

Then a swift move down our left saw PUSFC get round the back, cross and take a lead. Not to be put of by this FC free kicks were soon back on the attack and following inspirational substitutions the game was soon back level through Nick Reinis, scoring on his debut. HT 1-1

2nd half saw FC Freekicks back on the attacking front and Nick soon doubled his tally with a well worked 2nd.

As changes and fitness took its toll FC free kicks added a third through Terry Green and then with 15mins to go the gaffer and director of football were sent on (with the game secure) and to add some gloss to the sore the gaffer notched another well worked goal.

Overall a good game on fantastic facilities that I am sure we will use again. Many thanks to PUSFC and Netherton.
