Yaxley FC and the Free Kicks Foundation have taken their partnership to a new level with the introduction of a charity football shirt supplied from England and Manchester City sponsors, Umbro.
The shirt orders are fulfilled by online retailer UKsoccershop.com and the new kit has taken its place in their store alongside the kits of the likes of Manchester United and AC Milan in their huge range of products from all over the footballing world.
Not only does it make Cuckoos kits available at the click of a mouse for people all over the globe, £5 from each one sold will go to Free Kicks.
Cuckoos President Jeff Lenton said of the partnership “Companies with the pedigree of Umbro and UKsoccershop getting involved with the project we are working on at Yaxley FC shows it’s time for this club to be taken ever more seriously in the non-league arena. We are working on a number of projects with Free Kicks as we truly believe in what they are doing.”
Steve Thorpe from Free Kicks added “The shirt is great looking and we would love to see people wearing them in Yaxley, and beyond! We would like to thank Yaxley FC for their hard work on this project”
Yaxley first team Manager Brett Whaley liked the look of the kit “It’s very smart and we hope to see our supporters and fans of other clubs snapping them up for such a good cause”.
