Hello football world just a quick note from us regarding the current situation…
Due to the unprecedented events we are all experiencing we have had to cancel our usual spring/summer fundraising events.
Aaron Mclean
In light of this we are struggling to raise money so are trying to think of new ways to fundraise while staying safe. The obvious route is via social media due to so many people self isolating, so we’ve had an idea.
There must be so many footballers at home who are at a loose end and getting under their partner’s feet. Maybe it’s time to make themselves useful… instead of attempting some DIY, how about having a spring clean and clear out some old kit, boots, memorabilia etc.? We’d love you to then sign it and donate to us to auction over the next couple of months.
This would help us raise valuable funds in order to deliver more Kicks when this crazy world is back to normal and football resumes.
We know we’re at a loose end without matches to attend, this must be worse for the players as it’s also their job. We would love to get as many on board as possible, so footballers please dig out some old stuff, share a picture with us on Twitter or Instagram and tag 3 of your friends to get involved. We can then give you details of where to send the items to.
Peterborough United first team coach, Aaron Mclean, has agreed to get the ball rolling.
